Make a Ball Sort or Water Sort Puzzle With AI

Sort puzzles hand you tubes of mixed colors and one rule: you can only pour onto the same color, or into an empty tube. Tyrbo builds ball sort and water sort games from a sentence. It plans the tubes, the colors and the level curve with you, makes sure each level has a solution, and builds a game for your phone.

Looks a sort puzzle game can start from. Pick one, mix two, or name your own.

Ball sort and water sort: one rule, two feels

Both kinds share a core. Each tube holds a fixed number of items, only the top item moves, and it can only land on a match or in empty space. Ball sort moves one ball at a time, crisp and countable. Water sort pours every matching layer at once, which makes each move bigger and planning harder.

Tell Tyrbo which you want, or a twist on either: beads onto strings, pancakes stacked by flavor, potions poured in a witch's shop. It plans the containers and their capacity, and gets the move animation right, a ball hopping across, liquid tilting out of a glass.

Levels that can always be solved, from an AI sort puzzle generator

The hardest part of a sort puzzle is generating levels. Fill tubes at random and some boards have no solution. A reliable approach is to start from the solved state and scramble it with legal moves played in reverse, so every board has a way out. Difficulty then comes from the number of colors, how few spare tubes there are, and how deep the mix runs.

Tyrbo plans level generation so each board is solvable, writes the generator for your game, and checks for soft-locks before the build leaves. Ask for a gentle start with three colors and a steady climb, and the generator lays out the curve.

Undo, extra tubes and colors everyone can read

Small helpers decide whether a sort puzzle feels fair. Undo forgives a slip. An extra empty tube rescues a stuck board and is a natural spot for a rewarded ad, which the pipeline wires for you. A move counter and a three-star rating give a reason to replay.

Colors need care. Several shades look alike on a small screen and to color-blind players, so many sort games put a symbol on each color. Ask, and Tyrbo adds the marks to every ball or layer. You pick the palette, and the game gets its own UI skin, from quiet minimal to candy cute; the minimalist game maker has more.

Start a sort puzzle game with one sentence

  • Water sort with glowing potions in a witch shop, five colors, a symbol on each potion for color-blind players
  • Ball sort with fruit candies in glass jars, an undo button, and an extra jar as a reward
  • Sort stacks of pancakes by flavor onto plates, three toppings at first and a new one every ten levels

From a sentence to your phone

  1. 1

    Describe it

One sentence is enough. Say what you tap, what you dodge, what you win.

  2. 2

    Answer a few questions

Each comes with our best guess picked, so most of the time you just tap Continue.

  3. 3

    See the plan

A title, a pitch, every part of the game, and concept art, before anything is built.

  4. 4

    Play it today

Scan the code and it runs on your phone. Change it by talking to it.

Built to ship, not just to prototype

Every game leaves the pipeline with all of this checked, not hoped for.

Questions people ask

Can I make a ball sort game without coding?

Yes. Name what gets sorted, into what, and how hard it should get. Tyrbo shows you a plan with concept art, writes the game and its level generator, and you play it on your phone. Changes, like a fifth color or a smaller tube, are a request away.

Will every level be solvable?

That is the goal of the plan: levels are generated so each has a solution, and Tyrbo checks for soft-locks before the build is finished. Undo and an optional extra tube give players a way out of their own mistakes.

Can I control the difficulty curve?

Yes. Difficulty in a sort puzzle comes down to colors, tube capacity, spare tubes and how scrambled each board is. Tell Tyrbo how fast it should climb, or ask for sliders inside your game to try different settings while you play.

Why is sorting listed under physics puzzles?

Sort games share their home with pin puzzles: short levels, one action, a level map to climb. Pouring and hopping use light physics for feel. For other physics puzzles see the physics puzzle game maker or the pin puzzle game maker.
